Confusion species
Care should be taken, very similar to other species of Glyphipterix.

Seeds of cotton-grass.
Lifestage data
Eggs laid on the seed-head. Larva feeds throughout the winter within
the seed-head which are spun to the plant so they aren’t blown off.
Pupates in a flimsy cocoon spun in the seed-head. |
